Ranking high on the list of Malaysia’s most beautiful mosques, the Ubudiah Mosque was built in 1913. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback, the mosque is located beside the Royal Mausoleum. The mosque stands majestically with its golden dome and minarets creating such a sight. The mosque was completed in 1917 at a total cost or RM200,000. It was officially declared open by Sultan Abdul Jalil Karamtullah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris Murshidul Adzam Shah I Rahmatullah, successor to Sultan Idris.
